Parallel mediaverse stamp

Hi everyone on DA!
Since this is a community where we can share our interests and such, we all want to start afresh and not get picky or fight over things here on DA and other sites!! So here's a stamp which tells us not to get frustrated over mediaverses.

Mediaverse (NOT to be confused with the company that publishes journals and newspapers, this is more a fandom term): a cartoon/comic/anime/game universe which may consists of crossovers. They are also forms of alternate universes for toons. This also includes interpretations of famous characters from classic literature.

examples: The Casper Movies. Out of them all, I am the biggest fan of the first one starring Christina Ricci, but I quite like the Haunted Christmas special. Also the old toons and comics with Wendy are adorable. I am a huge CasperXKat fan, but tolerate WendyXCasper too (because its cute and pretty well done- mainly in the comics)

-Sonic- SATAM and Sonic X and games. YES, not too big on the fandom since MANY fanbrats abound there, but I like the SATAM Sonic cartoon (haven't watched it in a while though. Sally Acorn was my fave) and I RARELY got the chance to watch Sonic X, but I quite like the games. Yes, Sega has the SonicXAmy pairing (which I quite like- especially for HUMOUR (think Piggy persuing Kermit), but if u remember SATAM, there were a LOT of SonicXSally pairing scenes too. So peace to both fandoms since I support BOTH SonSal and SonAmy. Plus hey, the Chaos Emeralds were not in the SATAM series, SO WHAT? The Freedom Fighters (who are not present in the games) were cool! Especially Bunnie Rabot. As for the games, BLAZE the CAT is my favourite character.

Cartoon Network/ - Ah Cartoon Network. HOw I LOVE Bleedman's Grim Tales and PPGD. Grim Jr and Minimandy and Belle- AWESOME CHARACTERS! Yes We know that Mandy did not grow up and go off with Grim and have kids in the TV show, but still, I support them in Bleedman's works. 's a Grim secret is another favourite of the use of Grim- so happy seeing him being free from the kids who enslaved him in the first place XD. Like with the Casper pairings, I am a HUGE fan of one (in this case, Bleedman's DexXBlos) but I do not mind the other (which is the official BlosXBrick in the PPG show)

Ruby Gloom- Oh how I LOVE the fandom for this due to mature people and lack of fanbrats. There have been several crossovers of similar toons with this toon on DA- namely 's 'Unicorn's luck' and 'Cats Keepers'
stories (LOVE em for their drama and mystical elements- you should REALLY check them out), 's Dark Bleak and RGNG and my famous (among the watchers) Spinoff of Cryptic Freaks (due to its popularity status)- the 'Little Miss Dirge' toons, starring my own OC Miss Melanie Dirge

BOOKS: yes, I have seen movies and cartoons of interpretations of famous fairytale and literature characters- some good and some bad. I am talking about classic books, not recent novels. Classic characters are timeless and open to people's eyes to interpret. EG. The Pride and Prejudice movie. It is wonderfully done on a free-thinking level, expressive and poetic. HOWEVER, it is not the closest adaptation to the Jane Austen Novel. YET we can really enjoy it as it is- an expressive artistic way of seeing the novel. The same thing applies to mythology and the Hunchback of Notre Dame Novel by Victor Hugo. SO WHAT if Disney didn't stick close to the book (for the ENDING that is)? So WHAT if Disney made Hades the bad guy? THE FILMS ARE STILL ENJOYABLE! (yes, Hunchback was rather disturbing to me as a child in some scenes, but when I saw it recently, I enjoyed it on a different, more adult level- yeah, I'm one to like thought-provoking movies)

So here's to everyone and everyfandom everywhere- AND on DA, watchers, friends and everyone. Tolerance and appreciation is the key to happy fandoms and friendships. If we artists/poets were not allowed to express themselves, their creativity and passion would be trapped in there, like a bird wanting to escape but can't. This stamp also applies to the things like the Spyro games (Old vs New), Kingdom Hearts fandom, Pokemon shippings, anime and favourite cartoons in general etc.
