My Top 5 PERSONAL Favourite Youtubers meme

Description

My meme for my top 5 personal favourite youtubers.

Well on youtube it seems like there is a LOT of people who favour certain youtubers and certain channels to watch them.
While I myself do like a couple of popular reviewers, I also want to note that I'm not a sheep and DO have my list of youtubers that are my PERSONAL faves. Personal doesn't mean that you have to love them as well. HOWEVER, I will state my points on why I like them.

5. JesuOtaku.
While she IS quite a hit on Theguywiththeglasses.com, I do like her anime reviews. a LOT. Sure I don't really watch/haven't watched all the anime she reviews , but when she does them, I like the way she goes into detail about them so that I know about them a bit better. Sadly, several of her good vids aren't on youtube anymore, but on blip.tv. Here channel can be seen here: blip.tv/jesuotaku/princess-tut…
My personal fave reviews are the month of Miyazaki (where she reviews the films of Hayao Miyazaki- as in ALL, not just the well known ones), the Magic Knight Rayearth review and where she goes into the character profiles of the characters of Digimon Tamers aka my favourite digimon season. (My favourite profile reviews being Takato's and Guilmon's (Lead guys section) as well as Rika's and Renamon's (lead girls section) as she pretty much nails a lot what I like about them monsters and tamers) She pretty much sums up what I like about them)).

4. Lizardbite
While he's not a very well known youtuber, I recommend you should check out his Myths and Monsters list. He even uses traditional AND modern media interpretations of such creatures he talks about as pictures as he gives out facts, making his vids enjoyable as he narrates.

3. The Game Theorists www.youtube.com/user/MatthewPa…
This youtuber, Matthew goes through some entertaining (and sometimes funny) theories about video game plots, characters etc.
also he do give interesting facts and bring up rants such as gender portrayal in video games.
I have a few fave vids from them, but My personal favourite video from their channel is one that raises this question:
'Are Gamers Killing Video Games'. And YES they bring up some good points:
-innovative games sadly don't sell as much as mainstream games. (and comparison of certain entries from Squaresoft come to mind)

2. TheLeetCasualGamer www.youtube.com/user/TheLeetCa…
If there was ANY sane pokemon fan out of many crazy ones in the fandom I seem to relate to in some ways, this guy is it.
And while this guy IS a HUGE pokemon (and Legend of Zelda) fan, he's one of those open minded people who seems to show a lot of good knowledge in fields like science, nature, art and history too.
But the main reason he's high on the list is that from his videos and reviews, he gives me the courage and knowledge on reviewing things (and yes, while watching his reviews/countdowns on video games etc or his collaborations with other youtubers, I've picked up a few hints on how to rant or review):
-Analyse what you LIKE about something and what you DON'T LIKE  about something before giving final thoughts.

-don't be afraid to show that you like something that just happens to be popular. As long as you explain carefully in detail WHY you love the game/character etc. without going overboard and turning into a tantrum-throwing fanbrat, you are fine.

-if you are explaining why you hate/dislike something, don't stoop as low as the extreme fanbrats themselves.

-*DON'T use the term 'overrated' willy-nilly and anyhow. There is a BIG difference between something being a popular fan-favourite (many fans stating being his/her favourite, NOT the best) and being 'overrated (overhyped and overpraised by many fans as 'the best ever').

-ANYTHING can be Nostalgic to anyone. Don't be closeminded or fanbratty about some new things (if you have a legit reason to not like it, then ok) because it will be nostalgic to our future generations to come.

And its a shame that many fanbrats bash him for sharing unpopular opinions and call him a 'noob' for liking unpopular things 'just to get attention' (Yes he had to remove his wolfaboo rant video I remember viewing ages ago for some reasons. He likes wolves, but hates the fans). And while I don't always agree 100% with him in terms of favourite games, he list some cool, not as mainstream ones as his faves (Lunar series and Okami, the latter being one of my favourite games of all time)

AND the number 1 Youtuber award goes to:

Much like TheLeetCasualGamer, She pretty much rocks when it comes to reviewing things. If TheLeetCasualGamer is to games and anthro/furry/animal stuff, then she is to the Supernatural and Literature stuff. My favourite are her notes and reviews about vampire lore (both modern AND traditional) in literature, Anne Rice books (I only enjoyed the first Vampire book  'Interview with the Vampire' and the movie it was based on though),  and about writing historical fiction characters in general (my favourite video being a rant about villian woobies and writing strong female characters). Also her top 10 best and worst books every year makes me excited (she seems to nail what I like about some of the books on her list pretty well). Her rants on certain issues in real life are also something that brings my interests too.

I also enjoy her magical girl reviews since I used to watch a couple of them as a kid and still have sentimental value and favourite characters in them.  And of course: her rant about how to write dark fairytale adaptations and symbolism in fairytales. Plus she's not afraid to reveal her favourite guilty pleasure movie and why she deeply loves it while admitting its flaws (Space Jam is to her as the 1995 Casper film is to me)

And while she's a Disney fan, she can still be honest about the mainstream Princess stuff. examples are seen in these vids:

Her view on the Disney Princess Franchise as a WHOLE: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vG5vN…
Her Frozen Review: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOlEv5…

And of course she does bring up good Nostalgia Reviews (Xena and Gargoyles for the win :D) Though I miss the fact she got rid of her 'top 5 crazy girls' vid.

ANd that wraps up my top 5 Youtubers :D :D
