Melanie's Shattered Dream Pt. 6

The theater was crowded that night. Many creatures (some whom where the performers' parents) attended the dance all. All of them very excited to see thier sons and daughters Suddenly 2 familiar vampires from elsewhere fly to take a seat

Ashley: Ah Oskar, isn't it wonderful! To have a weekend break for Horrificus Academy to visit Duskville to see some fine arts
Oskar: Indeed I've never been to the theater in Duskville before, it looks so grand
Ashley: It is really grand Their skeletal orchestra plays some of the best music here
Also, from what I see on the schedule *opens pamphlet, Miss Melanie Dirge is performing the role of Odile
Oskar: Ah, isn't it wonderful to see that sweet one you love be a star? even if she's playing the villianess?
*candlelights dim eeriely as curtain opens. EVERYONE silences as Mr Sanguison makes the introduction. the another curtain then opens to reveal the first act.*

Ashley: Oh look Oskar, here it comes

*orchestra starts playing the familiar Tchikaikovsky 'Swan Lake' tune. We see Greg as prince Segfried and some of the dancers from the boys' ballet class dance towards some cardboard swans. beautiful effects abound as Olivia then floats gracefully and begins her dance*

Many creatures in the theater: awwwwww!
Mrs Willobark (whispering): That's my daughter in a silver and blue tutu as Odette! How proud of her I am
Mr Rattlinson: She sure is adorable

*a couple of hours later*

*the lights go out*
Olivia: Hey, what happened?
Greg: Olvia,I think this is the part where Rothbart and Odile try to attack us I think

*The lights flash like thunder as Miss Dirge (as Odile) and Peter Sanguison (as Rothbart) appear with smoke effects. Peter lunges forward and tries to attack Greg, some bats helping him, MD does the same with Olivia, ravens helping her, though she keeps missing, she keeps trying to strike her like a bat darting towards its prey.

Mr Sanguison: CUT! THIS WASN'T PART OF THE SCRIPT!!!!!! ROLE THE CURTAIN!!!*

*curtain roles as Olivia and MD and Peter and Greg are STILL fighting. Ashley, along with Mr Nevermore and the Rattlinsons, in a state of shock, decide to rush backstage to what was happening. Same with Mrs Willobark and Mr and Mrs McHuffy. As all of them arrive- in a state of SHOCK to see the fight- ESPECIALLY Ashley, who thought he'd never see the day where he'd witness his girlfriend's nasty side (which was caused by her own jealousy)*


MD: (screams at Olivia) YOU STOLE MY DREAM ROLE!
Olivia: MELANIE, WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?! *teared face*
MD: I've ALWAYS wanted to have the role of Odette, it was my DREAM role. and you TOOK it from me! I wanted to tell you at ballet class face to face, but I couldn't but since this is a performance where people think we are battling, I SHALL SAY IT NOW! YOU HAVE STOLEN THE SPOTLIGHT AWAY FROM ME AND NOW I WILL TRY TO RECLAIM IT!!
Olivia: Melanie! I Thought you were my friend!!!!! *Cries*

Mr Sanguison: PETER! GREG! OLIVIA! MELANIE! STOP! *Vampiric hiss*

*everyone glares in a shock and upset state*

Mrs and Mr McHuffy: Aww poor Greg deary, Did Peter hurt you? *both hug him and try to comfort him, while growling at Peter- making him scared*

Mr Sanguison: Peter, we need to talk, come.
*both Peter and his dad turn into bats and fly to one high corner for a serious conversation*


Mrs Willobark: *comforts Olivia* don't worry dear, that nasty strange human girl should have known better than to bully you *glares at MD with an eerie ghostly look*
MD: errr...Mrs Willobark....I'm so sorry.....
Ashley: *Vampiric Hiss* Melanie! To think you were a complete sweetheart who can do no wrong!
MD: ASHLEY! I didn't know you were going to be here!
A: Hmph, so you THINK I wouldn't attend this ballet so I wouldn't be able to see you be so cruel to your friend. Well- GUESS WHAT? I SAW EVERYTHING!
MD: but....but......
A: Sure, to me, you are as sweet as can be. But I NEVER thought I would see you be so...so....spiteful as a venomous snake- to a very shy and sensitive friend of yours!! Almost like you are hiding something under all that sweetness!!
MD: *GASP* I can't explain! It's....

Mrs Willobark: You should know better than to try and hurt Olivia. Sure she's a ghost and dead like me, but your actions and words can hurt her sensitive feelings!
Olivia: and I thought you knew that, being my friend and all! *still crying*

Morey her Mentor Raven: *stern look on his face* I told you, I TOLD you to control your jealousy...look where its gotten you........now, I need to talk to my fellow ravens about thier mistakes helping you out with this mess *flies off*
Mrs Rattlinson: Oh Melanie, I am just so...dissapointed
Mr Rattlinson: *hangs head in shame*

Ashley *glares at MD before changing into a bat and flying off*

MD: I...I...I didn't mean for this to happen *tears up* *hangs head in shame as everything goes black around her- leaving only her in a dark dramatic spotlight *
