Melanie's Journey- Meanwhile at Horrificus Academy

It was a fine school break, but the view was VERY lovely from Horrificus Academy aka the school for vampires.
Meanwhile at Horrificus Academy, 2 young vampires sat at the top of one of the castle roofs. Ever since he witness his sweetheart Miss Melanie Dirge snap at her good friend and attack her out of jealousy, he wasn't so sure whether to trust her or not. For a long time, he thought she was the perfect sweetheart who'd be nice and kind to everyone. However, Oskar, who happened to be a LOT more optimistic when it comes to romance, was sure that MD just had a bad night and was going through her ocassional jealous phrase, which everybody does.

Ashley: Oh Oskar, while I DO love her, I'm not sure about Miss Melanie Dirge being the perfect sweetheart. Ever since I first met her, I thought she was a sweet girl who'd do no wrong. But to see her attack a friend like that during a ballet? I now kinda think she's hiding something......
Oskar: Ashley, I'm pretty sure she was just jealous of her friend that she got a lead role in the ballet. Most girls tend to get envious of people when they have what others do not have.
Ashley: I can see where you are coming from Oskar, but MD isn't really the sort to go beserk and attack others.....plus she was shocked when she found out we were attending the ballet. Trust me Oskar, I have hung out with some girls before and not all of them are 100% nice or what they seem.....
Oskar: Oh Ashley, I'm pretty sure that MD didn't want to tell you about her nasty side in case you find that side of her's unpleasant. Besides, BOTH us guys AND girls get jealous over petty things every now and then. and I've seen girls getting jealous before- especially our classmate Gruftine....plus as one of our cooks Fou Fang said: not everyone is perfect.....

All of a sudden, there was a flapping of wings- and there, approaching the 2 young vampires, was: a raven, and a ghost kitty carrying a skeleton dog.

Mr Nevermore: Ah Ashley, I have some news for you.
Ashley: Ah, Morey what is it?
Mr Nevermore: Oh, it has to do with your beloved Miss Melanie Dirge, Ashley, she's ...she's...*hands Ashley the note* well read and you'll find out:

*unscrolling the letter, Ashley then read the letter:

'Dear Everyone
I have figured that since my somewhat spoilt nature and jealousy with a friend over a petty thing has been the result of living a rather sort-of material life, I am about to go on a meaning-of-life journey away from the town of Duskville in order to become a better person. Once I return to Duskville, I promise never to repeat the same mistakes ever again. This journey I'm taking will be rather long one, but I'll promise I'll be back

Ashley: *closes his eyes for a moment and then sighs a sympaethic sigh* Oh Melanie, that is very touching that you are going on a deep journey to atone for your extremely bad behaviour towards your friend. It's good to know that you are not hiding something and that you realise your bad behaviour is wrong and are actually trying to redeem yourself. However, at the same time I feel very worried- the Underworld out there is very dangerous. I know that you can take care of yourself well, but still........what will most creatures out there think of you? Most of them are not even tolerant of humans.....and if you run into some, you may never make it back to Duskville again*sad look across his face*
Oskar: *looks at Ashley with a sad face* Oh Ashley, I know how it feels. I feel like that with Sunshine as well.
Ashley: By the way, thanks for informing me on what happened to Melanie Dirge, Morey
Mr Nevermore: my pleasure, Master Aschenbecher.
Banshee the Ghost kitty: Meow meow meow! (trans: *Hey we are actually on a search for Melanie! Want to come along, Ashley?*)
Sir Ossifus: WOOF Woof woof! wwwwwwwoof woof woof! (trans:*Come on, what are you waiting for! You seem like the kind of vampire who's experienced with the Underworld! Plus, its not like you're going to wait till she comes right?)
Ashley: *smiles* why that would be nice! After all, its a term break, and it would be nice to travel with you guys to find her
*Klot then flies up*
Klot: Ashley! You're going somewhere? Can I tag along too? I promise I will keep close to you always
Ashley: Why of course Klot As long as you stick with all of us, you will be fine just don't get distracted and wander off ok?
Klot: YAY!

Mr Nevermore: Ok all of you, remember, stick close and be wise, the Underworld is not always what it seems and can be rather unpredictable with its surprises.
Oskar: see ya Ashley! Hope you'll find her See you Klot! be good!
Ashley and Klot: See you Oskar!

and so, Klot and Ashley set off with Mr Nevermore, Banshee the Ghost Kitty and Sir Ossifus the Skeletal Whippet Dog on thier way to find thier human friend
