JP- Kyanite awakened

A screenshot from Jewelpet, where Kyanite (Kia for short), the Siamese cat has been awakened from her jewel state by the main pet heroine Ruby the Rabbit and her friends, Garnet the Pink Persian (who was seen in the 'sweet and precious' Sanrio stamp) and Sapphire the King Charles Spainel. You see, the pets were sent to earth as jewels and when found, can be awakened from thier state by the artefact known as the jewel pocketbook (which Ruby keeps). They tend to choose a human owner and grant them a certain trait or quality they want to improve on (like friendship, or knowlege etc)
Kia grants the power of Independance to those who need it- in this case, it was the minions of Diana (yes that kitty has humans for minions ).

So basically ,to me this shoujo anime isn't as much of a pretty classic as Card Captor Sakura or Sailor Moon (both which I love- especially CCS). In Jewelpet, the human characters are basically average to me.... However, being the Sanrio company, all the fluffy animal characters are adorable (and the power-hungry villian kitties Diana and Dian- Diana especially, are a hoot to watch when angry as seen in a previous deviation screenshot).
But If I had to pick a favourite from the good/heros side, it would have to be Garnet for her Sassy nature and character design wise its Kia *is a huge cat person :3 *
